Starcraft 2 -"It’s about time!"
Today, I found out that the frozen project Starcraft II is back to active stage. In the last month there were some new movies on the site of Starcraft II(http://starcraft2.com/) and tomorrow(20.05.2007) a third one is expected to come. For God’s sake – do not miss the cinematic. They are really awesome. From what I have seen, Blizzrad are preparing another game to be played for years, as every other game of theirs. I hate some of their commercial methods, yet I cannot deny my liking of Starcraft. I only hope, that they won’t ruin it as they did with Warcraft. A flashback – Warcraft I and Warcraft II were pieces of art(we do not talk about the graphics, which were brilliant for their time, but about the overall gameplay) while Warcraft III brought the most commercial ellement to the game and ruined its real fascination….of course, this is my opinion(as of many others REAL gamers around the world), yet it was successful, that’s why it’s a real hit today;) Probably the same will happen to Starcraft II. But the anticipation will be too high, so will be the expectations.
In the FAQ section it’s not pointed out when it’s coming out but, as the marine in one of the cinematic says, “It’s about time!”.
