Battlefield Heroes
Today, while reading the new issue of Games For Windows(previously CGM) I found a very interesting news. The creators of Battlefield have nearly ended the development of this very nice looking game. The site of the game is http://www.battlefield-heroes.com/ and the game itself will be free to play. It is generalized as a cartoon shooter and will be available for download this summer.
The thing that fascinated me is the game graphical engine. For a while I thought this is another sequel of Team Fortress and I love this game. Then I read something about new maps in BF2(I haven’t played for a month thanks to the Internet connection I have access to) and was amazed by the difference. Yet, the totally new skins(what I thought it is) made me read the article. As it is obvious from the screenshots @ http://www.battlefield-heroes.com/ and the net, the game is very much like TF2 but the authors claim that their conception was ready long before TF2 come to living. I am really eager to try this game and when we have in mind it’s free – wow:) We can only wait! In the meanwhile – have a look at this trailer:
