John Carmack Looks down on the PC
No matter if you’re a fan of Doom, Quake or other ID Software game, you cannot be a gamer without knowing something about John Carmack. He is the person behind some of the epic games, that have formed the PC gaming to it’s current look. So it really hurts, when such person tells you that PC gaming is not his primary target anymore. I admit that this year I took the final decision to buy a console(Xbox360) but still I think that PC gaming is much better and it has to offer much more. Some time ago, fun was moving the game developers, but nowadays they are only thinking about money. That’s why the consoles are gaining more and more fans and some absurd situations as the one with The Force Unleashed this year will take place.
Remember, when the limits of the consoles are reached, they will turn into PCs again…but this time is far from now and soon we may be obliged to play all games on the next gen consoles. It’s a pitty.
