Microsoft Is on The Run Again
Earlier, Microsoft has started a new 300-million- dollar advertising campaign to revamp its stodgy image. This is their second try in the last year to improve their image(if you remember the Mojave experiment). The new campaign is based on really interesting videos, describing Bill Gates and Jerry Seinfeld on their way of reconnecting with people. In the first ad they are buying chap shoes for Bill and Jerry helps him stretch the smaller shoes. The ideas are really amazing…some people dislike them, yet they reach the imagination at once. Although some people do not like this ad it still triggered a lot of attention and I really believe that they are affected by the ideas inside. Even the poor guys can be in Bill Gates’s shoes, can you imagine this:
The second ad is about the real try of both guys to reconnect with the people. Both are complaining that they have lost their touch with the people. I really do not want to elaborate more on this ad because there are too many ideas inside that really appealed to me. I will just mention that the part with the bed-side story about programming was sooooooo funny:)
And remember – there are monsters in the story but there are firewalls;)
