Fallout 2 Save Games converter (1.01 or 1.0 to 1.02d)

There is a common problem with freshly patched Fallout 2 versions. I had it too – when you have played and decide to update the game to 1.02d – the save games won’t be compatible. Of course, there are tons of converters that pretend to do the job and bring your old saved games in the game, yet they do not do it, especially if you have patched Fallout 2 v1.01.
